C.T Scan

Yestereday (9th May) I went to L,G,I for my C.T. scan with contrast dye put in, It was a strange feeling, not helped by the fact that it was very hot outside and that made me faint nearly. I went all light headed and had to lie down  in the chair as the nurses were putting the canular into my hand.  Once in and i had regained compusre I went to the C.T room was strapped up with electrolodes and within 10mins the scan was over, and the dye had been put in, which felt warm and strange with a slight sting at the begining.  Next month is the meeting with my surgeons. Waiting for a letter now for a date for the meeting.

update

Sorry for not posting as regularly as I intended, so past couple of months Ive had a angiagram late March which was sucessfull for my left arteries and the right arteries they had trouble seeing the pics, so ive been referred for a c.t scan with contrast dye for May 9th followed up by surgeon apt in June then late summer for the operation. But my cardiologist said to keep my summer schedule clear for any cancellations :)

This operation is going to be to replace my Aortic Valve and Aortic Root. I discovered this problem back in 2013 after a routine apt at my local Hospital Calderdale Royal in Halifax. I was referred to the cardiology specialist at Leeds who took over my case. It was found that my Aorta was large and they kept an eye on it for the next 5yrs. I had numerous procedures in that time a few being Cardioversions which were to put my heart back into normal rytham as it had gone out of ry...
